Severe weather predicted in Central Alabama has several school systems closing schools on Monday.

Selma City Schools will be on virtual learning on Monday.

McRae Early Learning in Selma will be closed. 

Hale County and Marengo County schools will have a two-hour delay.

Dallas County Schools will be closed.

The National Weather Service says there is an enhanced risk for severe thunderstorms across Central Alabama late Sunday night through Monday afternoon with a possibility of tornadoes, damaging winds and large hail. 

School systems will be added to this list as announcements are made on Sunday.
