The Council on Substance Abuse hosted “Talk It Out: Vaping & Mental Health Forum” at three schools in Wilcox County on May 5.

The forum engaged students in conversations about vaping prevention and mental health awareness.

The event was held at Camden School of Arts & Technology, Wilcox County Alternative School and Wilcox Central High School, where students learned about school policies, vaping laws, prevention strategies and the connection between mental health and vaping. Through interactive discussions and education, COSA reached almost 200 students during the event.

COSA provides prevention education and outreach initiatives that support healthy decision-making and youth wellness across Alabama communities.
