In Uniontown, it was a good night for incumbents in the Sept. 23 runoff.
Incumbent mayor Ron Miller won re-election with 546 votes. Challenger Portia Shepherd received 481 votes.
For Marion City Council District 1, incumbent Eddie Ward won with 135 votes to LeVirgil
District 2 City Councilman Dudley Long kept his seat by a one-vote margin, receiving 110 votes to Sherman Norfleet’s 109 votes.
Terms begin on the first Monday in November, Nov. 3.Â
