2021 Photographic Nights of Selma Festival is this week

The 2021 Photographic Nights of Selma Festival will take place this week from Nov. 4-7 at Arts Revive. 

The festival features work submitted by photographers from both outside and inside the city of Selma.

Photographic Nights of Selma was founded by Stephane Kossmann, who also founded similar festivals in Pierrevert, France and in Morocco. 

On Nov. 4 registration will be held from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Coffee Shoppe at 308 Broad Street. See blow for the schedule for the following days: 

Saturday, Nov. 5

2 p.m. - Chip Cooper presentation and introduction by Charlie Lucas 

3 p.m. - Presentation by Liesa Cole 

4 p.m. - Presentation by Frank Jackson, Guest of Honor 

7 p.m. - Photographic Nights of Selma screening 

8:30 p.m. - Post screening reception

Sunday, Nov. 6

4 p.m. - Journeys for the Soul presentation by Joanne Bland 

5 p.m. - Introduction and Q&A with Sydney Foster, 2020 People's Choice Award Winner 

7 p.m. - Photographic Nights of Selma Screening  

8:30 p.m. - Post screening reception
