Whitfield Regional Hospital announced receiving $22,000 from an inaugural gala on Saturday that will be used to pay for a new MRI machine.
Whitfield Foundation raised the funds at a NY NY Dueling Pianos event at Demopolis Civic Center on Saturday.Â
In a statement on Tuesday, the Demopolis hospital thanked supporters and said it would fund "acquiring a cutting-edge MRI machine that promises to enhance our diagnostic capabilities significantly."
"Your generosity not only fuels our mission but also reinforces the spirit of community that makes our initiatives possible," the hospital said. "We sincerely appreciate each and every contribution and can’t wait to share the date fornext year’s event - stay tuned for another opportunity to come together for a great cause!"
