There’s Ebony Fashion. And then there’s Fashion on the River.
Saturday evening, fashion show goers experienced the hottest show since they figured out sliced bread. It happened right here in SelmaTown and included designers and boutiques from Birmingham to Marion to Montgomery.
FOTR founder Aisha Smith assigns a different theme each year, with this year’s being “Black to the Future.” The show was a history lesson on Black designers, their collections/signature pieces and the environments that inspired them.
