A military veteran in Marion, Perry County, Alabama, has been struggling to get her house repaired to assist with her disability and reached out to the Black Belt News Network for help. BBNN paired her with Aaron Roper, a Selma veteran who started the nonprofit organization Vets Helping Vets that helps other veterans with resources.
