$1,000 reward offered for information on Thomasville homicide

Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information on the murder of Andy Crawford Jr. in Thomasville on May 20. 

According to a post on CrimeStoppers' Facebook page, the homicide occurred at Johnson Street and Bettis Avenue where Crawford was discovered with a life-threatening wound. 

He was taken to a local hospital but succumbed to his injury. 

"Investigators say the victim was a passenger in a tan-colored, Honda Civic, driving in the area of Johnson Street and Bettis Avenue when an unknown subject fired multiple shots toward the occupants of the vehicle," said CrimeStoppers' post. "The passenger, Crawford Jr., was wounded by the gunfire. The driver of the vehicle immediately drove the victim to a local hospital for treatment."
