A suspect has been arrested following a shootout in Bibb County that left one deputy dead and another with injuries. 

According to the Centreville Press, the deputies - identified as Chris Poole and Brad Johnson - attempted to arrest a man identified as Austin Patrick Hall. 

A shootout then occurred, leaving the deputies with injuries and Hall reportedly fleeing on foot afterwards. A manhunt was called, with Perry County Sheriff's officers joining the search. 

Hall was found and arrested by officers of the United States Marshal Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. 

The two deputies were transported to be treated for serious injuries from the shootout. Johnson was later confirmed to have passed away from his injuries.
