A $1 million grant from federal services is allowing Hale County Hospital to remodel and expand its emergency service rooms.Â
According to ABC 33/40, more rooms will be added, which will make it easier to serve more patients in emergency situations, potentially saving more lives.Â
The funding will be important as people in surrounding communities rely on its location in a rural area, said staff.Â
The project is expected to begin within the next three months and it will be at least a year until it's completed.Â
