The 2025 Levitt AMP Selma Music Series concert on Saturday, Aug. 23 will feature Men of Prayze and Lisa Knowles-Smith & The Brown Singers as part of Gospel Explosion.
“This weekend’s concert is not just about music—it’s about uplifting our community through the joy and inspiration gospel music brings,” said Event Series Coordinator Lydia Chatmon from the Black Belt Community Foundation. “We are proud to present artists of this caliber in downtown Selma, and we invite everyone to join us.”
The series will continue through the fall and will include Magnolia Boulevard, Trap Jazz, The Seratones, Mike Clark, Jr., and FPJ.
Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers. It is free and can be accessed at the corner of Water Avenue and Lawrence Street.
