CrimeStoppers 215-Stop is offering a $5,000 reward for information that could lead to answers in the murder of a 58-year-old man in Selma on Feb. 11.Â
According to an announcement, an adult male arrived 1300 Alabama Avenue driving a white 2007 Ford F-150. He reported to officers at the scene that he had been shot.Â
"Officers immediately observed a gunshot wound to the victim’s chest, as well as significant blood inside the vehicle," said the announcement. "The truck also showed multiple bullet strikes, including damage to the hood and windshields."
The victim reported that he had been shot in the area of Leroy Street and Griffin Avenue before he was transported for treatment. He died days later on Feb. 21.Â
He was identified as Antrone Johnson and was a Selma resident.Â
