Despite several delays earlier this year, the Alabama River Chili Cookoff is set for next week on Oct. 24 at 5 p.m.
The event is presented by Blackbelt Benefit Group and will benefit Easterseals West Central Alabama. Entry to the cookoff is $5.
Winners will be announced at 7 p.m. Funk nation provides music at 8 p.m.
The Alabama River Chili Cookoff will take place at Water Avenue Historic District in Selma.
