As drought conditions continue for the state the Alabama Forestry Commission (AFC) has placed all counties under a Fire Danger Advisory until rain brings some relief.

Dry conditions have caused a number of wildfires to break out in the past month.

"In the past 30 days, 246 wildfires have burned nearly 3,000 acres," said a post on the AFC's Facebook page.

The AFC added that it is still not issuing burn restrictions but the public is advised to keep from burning anything outdoor until conditions improve.
