Selma's ArtsRevive was awarded a grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts to support improvements for spaces in the downtown area.

$66,000 was awarded from the Creative Places Arts Facilities grant by the council.

It was funded through the Alabama Legislature to "enhance" Gallery 905, CREATE Space, 907 Water Avenue, and the Carneal Building.

“This is about more than buildings. It is about creating safe, welcoming spaces where the arts bring people together,” said Executive Director Becky Youngblood.
