The encore concert by singer and Selma native Asher HaVon that was rescheduled to Aug. 30 has a new date and location.
HaVon will perform on Saturday at 8 p.m. at The Anchor.
Citing his busy schedule, the concert has been moved several times. It was originally set for Aug. 9 at Selma High, then moved to Aug. 30. However, it has now been moved to the Anchor on Franklin Street downtown.
"As I prepare for my upcoming tour next year, I wanted to make sure to give my hometown one last special show before I hit the road," HaVon said in a post on Facebook. "Selma will always hold a special place in my heart. This one is for you!"
Tickets purchased previously will be honored.Â
Selected students will also receive their scholarships during the concert.Â
