Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying the person or persons of interest after an explosive device was found to have detonated outside the office of Attorney General Steve Marshall in Montgomery on Saturday.

While the device was detonated near the intersection of Washington Avenue and South Bainbridge Street in the proximity of Marshall's Office on Saturday, authorities received a notice of a "suspicious" package on Monday morning.

No injuries or damages to buildings were reported when authorities responded to the area and deemed it safe.

Now the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Mobile and the Alabama Attorney General’s Office are requesting that anyone who has information to contact 1-800-CALL-FBI and upload any digital files online at: www.fbi.gov/alabamaagexplosion.
