The Barbour Extension Office will host an electronic waste recycling day on Oct. 2 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.Â
Anyone who wants to get rid of old and unused electronics may bring them to the Barbour Extension Office parking lot. Visitors are asked to load them into the trunk of their vehicle and a volunteer will pick them up.Â
The following will be accepted:Â
- Phones
- Personal computers
- Desktop computers
- CPUs (processors)Â
- Computer mouseÂ
- Keyboard
- Printers and scanners
- Fax machinesÂ
- CDs, VCRs and DVD players
- Computer boards and parts
- Integrated circuitsÂ
- Gaming systems
- Flat screen TVsÂ
Visitors are asked not to bring the following:Â
- Cathode-ray tube TVsÂ
- Console TVsÂ
- Old copy machinesÂ
- Appliances
The Barbour Extension Office is located at 525 School Street in Eufaula.
