Business Alabama Awards

Black Belt Community Foundation in Selma is one of five finalists for the Philanthropic Project of the Year Award, part of the 2025 Business Alabama Awards.

“After taking nominations from the public, we chose finalists in seven categories,” Business Alabama announced Tuesday afternoon.

Black Belt Community Foundation is in the running to be named Philanthropic Project of the Year. Other finalists include USA Health’s Doc Rock, Mobile; Kinetic’s Kinetic Cup, Birmingham; Baldwin Bone & Joint’s Many More Miles Shoe Drive, Fairhope; and Thompson Burton’s Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Huntsville.

Winners of the award categories will be named at a ceremony in Birmingham on Feb. 28, 2025.
