Bullock County student receives Alabama 4-H Foundation Scholarship

A Bullock County student was among others to receive a scholarship from the Alabama 4-H Foundation. 

According to Alabama 4-H's Facebook page, Lott Putnam was a recipient and plans to attend the University of Mobile in the fall to major in Kinesiology.

“4-H projects and activities enriched my life beyond my regular academic education," Putnam said in 4-H's announcement. "4-H is fun but more importantly, it expanded my world outside of Bullock County. 4-H activities gave me more confidence for the future and taught me not by listening, but by doing.”
