Junior Bridgeman, a businessman who invested a $600 million beverage distribution facility in Montgomery, has died at the age of 71.

Bridgeman was a former NBA basketball player who owned Manna Capital Partners.

The company established a beverage production and distribution complex in Montgomery that reportedly led to job growth and support of minority- and women-owned businesses.

“Let’s continue to celebrate the work and life of a great man as we mourn his passing,” said Montgomery County Commission Vice Chair Carmen Moore-Zeigler.
