A woman has been arrested by officers of the Butler County Sheriff's office in connection to a string of burglaries and thefts in Crenshaw County. 

According to The Luverne Journal, Miranda Paige Gonzales, 28, was arrested near the 7000 block of Luverne Highway on Sunday. 

She had been wanted for charges of third degree burglary and questioning about other incidents. She has been charged with two counts of third degree burglary and one third degree theft of property. 

Police reportedly followed a tip that led to her arrest. She is also being questioned about a series of burglaries and thefts in other counties.
