Authorities in Montgomery are searching for a fugitive wanted for theft and forgery.Â
According to Central Alabama CrimeStoppers the fugitive has been identified as Connie Robbins, 33. He is described as a Black male standing at 6’1" and weighing approximately 225 pounds.Â
Robbins is wanted for theft of property in the first degree and three counts of possession of a forged instrument in the third degree.Â
"Court documents indicate that Robbins forged multiple checks, cashed them at a local financial institution, and stole funds in excess of $2,500.00," said a post on CrimeStoppers' Facebook page.Â
A cash reward is being offered for information on Robbins though CrimeStoppers did not specify the amount.Â
Anyone with information is asked to call the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 334-832-4980 or the Montgomery County Fugitive/Extradition Team at 334-832-2579.
