Central Alabama Electric Cooperative (CAEC) is awarding $2,500 in scholarships to high school students who live in member households.Â
In addition to living in CAEC homes, students must be high school seniors. They must also attend a four-year college, a junior college, a technical school or vocational school of their choice if they receive a scholarship.
The program was established in 1997 to award scholarships to dependents of electric cooperative members.Â
The deadline to apply is Feb. 23, 2024. Online applications are available and can be done here.Â
