City clerk honored for 25 years of service

Lori Lein of the Alabama League of Municipalities congratulates Selma City Clerk Ivy Harrison (L) for her 25 years of service.

Selma City Clerk Ivy Harrison was recently honored for 25 years of service.

In addition to being congratulated by Mayor James Perkins Jr., Lori Lein, general counsel for the Alabama League of Municipalities, stopped by to thank Harrison for her service. 

“In addition to being a dedicated public servant, Ivy Harrison is a beautiful and generous soul and friend. She’s been through six elections and three mayors," Lein said on the ALM Facebook page.
