Much of Central Alabama was subject to damage from a bout of storms last night, especially in Montgomery where a number of traffic signals are without power and downed trees are being addressed.Â
Storms are expected to continue later today and will impact portions of the Black Belt. The public is advised to stay aware as weather experts continue to monitor events.Â
Meanwhile the City of Montgomery shared a list of signals that are without power:Â
Fairview Ave/S Court St, Fairview Ave/S Perry St, Fairview Ave/Gilmer Ave, Fairview Ave/Norman Bridge Rd, Norman Bridge Rd/Arlington Rd, Madison Ave/California St, Madison Ave/S Capitol Pkwy, S Capitol Pkwy/Lower Wetumpka Rd, South St/S Lawrence St, Arba St/S Lawrence St, Day St/Airbase Blvd.
An update from the city said that crews are working to restore power.Â
