The City of Selma has announced the Grand Marshal for the traditional day parade for the Christmas celebration on Dec. 9. 

Brianna Miles, who is the 94th Miss Tuskegee University, will be the Grand Marshal and will be accompanied by her royal court and the Crimson Piper marching band.

At 12 p.m. a lineup will begin with registered participants from the intersection of JL Chestnut Blvd and Washington Street. The parade begins at 1 p.m. 

Registration to be in the parade without a late fee is still available but ends very soon on Dec. 5. To register, click here.
