Two Montgomery restaurants that were closed due to health concerns can now reopen after being re-inspected.

According to WSFA one of these was Wintzell’s Oyster House, which was forced to close when a rat infestation and a lack of refrigeration, as well as mold and improper drink storage was reported by inspectors from the Montgomery County Department of Health.

The Mexican restaurant, Marisqueria Ramirez, had reports of mold, flies and insects, and a lack of proper dish washing protocols. It received a health score of 57.

Both establishments were re-inspected by the county and state health departments.
