A Community Hypertension and Diabetes Support Group will be hosted in Eutaw on Saturday, Aug. 22.Â
Medical advisor Dr. Mew and Legacy Medical Training Center Founder Desiree' Seymore will lead the event, which will be a forum focused on educating residents about heart health and blood sugar control.Â
Topics to be discussed are:Â
- Understanding high blood pressure and diabetesÂ
- Prevention and early detectionÂ
- Healthy lifestyle tipsÂ
- Medication and disease managementÂ
- Q&A with the Legacy Medical Training Center teamÂ
- Community support and resourcesÂ
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Legacy Medical Training Center on 117 Greensboro Street in Eutaw.Â
