Community Neighbor Bank is the Wilcox Area Chamber of Commerce's Business of the Month for May

Community Neighbor Bank in Camden is the Wilcox Area Chamber of Commerce's (WACC) Business of the Month for the month of May. 

According to an announcement from WACC Community Neighbor Bank once operated as Camden National Bank but was combined with Butler County Bank in 2013, giving it its current name. 

Camden National Bank was chartered in 1906. Since then it has grown to several locations throughout the county. 

"Indeed, a century of service has witnessed countless changes," said the announcement. "The founders of Camden National Bank could not imagine technologies such as Online Banking, 24-hour ATM access or even drive-up banking. But what they did understand was the concept of relationships, trust, honor, and integrity. Community Neighbor Bank continues to embrace those ideals in every undertaking."

Community Neighbor Bank sponsors Christmas In Camden, the Mark Curl BBQ Cook-off, and the Big Buck Contest. It is located on 3 Water Street in Camden and has a website at www.cnbal.net.
