Dallas County Office of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System

The Dallas County Office of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES) will be offering aid to Dallas County citizens completing applications for USDA Rural Development’s Single Family Housing Repair program. The Section 504 Home Repair program can provide loans for low and very-low-income homeowners to repair, improve, or modernize their homes or grants to elderly (defined as 62 years or older) and very-low-income homeowners to remove health and safety hazards.

The Dallas County office will be accepting appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays through June 29, 2023 to help community members complete their application packets. Dallas County citizens who would like assistance should call the Extension Office at 334-875-3200 to schedule an appointment or find out more details on what information is needed to submit a complete application.
