Dallas County High announced winners in several contests. 

Three students won the Black History Trivia Contest at Dallas County High School in February. MaKyla Williams won first place,Morchun Moten-Weeden won second place andGeniyah Cobb took home third place. 

Cathryn Dozier, the library media specialist who held the contest, said"The trivia contest was a fun and competitive way to learn new things about African Americans. 

Dozier also held amyON reading competition at Dallas County High School in January through March.The winners of the competition were seniors Tamia Paul, Rydasia Brownand MaKyla Williams. 

Top readers for the myON reading competition were Chyriyah Moore, first place; Kyrian Hayes, second place; and Amari Green, Rydasia Brown and MaKylaWillliams, third place.
