Morgan Academy’s girls tennis team won the AISA State Championship at the tournament in Montgomery on Tuesday. 

They beat Tuscaloosa Warriors for the title.

Morgan girls tennis team winners are Emma Jones, Martha Ann Beers, Kylie Calame, Mary Emily Frazer and Sarah Brech and their coach is Baxter Stinson. 

In the singles competition, Morgan girls won first place in several categories: Martha Ann Beers won #2, Emma Jones won #3, Mary Emily Frazer won #4 four and Sarah Brech won #5.

In boys singles, Lane Osborn won first place in #4, Grant Arrington was runner-up second seed singles and Cam Patterson was runner-up third seed singles.

Morgan’s doubles team Kylie Calame and Martha Ann Beers won first in #1 Doubles and Mary Emily and Emma won first place at #2 Doubles.
