Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual Chamber Celebration recently at the Demopolis Civic Center and gave out awards for 2025.

The Business of the Year went to Anderson Family Care, owned by Dr. Brittney Anderson.

Community Spirit Award went to Melanie Soronen.

Miller Windham was named Youth Volunteer of the Year. 

Leslie Gibbs received the Chamber Volunteer of the year award. 

Citizen of the Year is Hugh Overmyer, a local developer and Demopolis City Councilman.

The Lifetime Achievement Award went to Dr. Ken Tucker, former administrator of Whitfield Regional Hospital.

Celebrating a Century of Service to the Demopolis Area award went to Copeland Machine Shop and the Copeland family and to Culpepper Electric Company and the Culpepper family.
