A man from Demopolis was killed during a crash that took place on Thursday morning.Â
According to a statement from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), David R. Freeman, 72, was driving a 2016 GMC Sierra pickup that was struck by 2019 Mack tractor-trailer driven by Ronald Morgan, 67, of Thomasville.
Freeman was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.Â
The crash reportedly took place at approximately 9:40 a.m. on Alabama 28 near the 38 mile marker, approximately four miles west of Linden
