A drug raid by the Clarke County Sheriff's Office and the Thomasville Police Department along with other law enforcement agencies yielded several ounces of marijuana and methamphetamine. 

According to the Thomasville Times, the raid took place during the Thanksgiving holiday though an exact location was not specified. 

4.4 ounces of marijuana, 2 ounces of methamphetamine were discovered. The methamphetamine was tested positive for Fentanyl. Drug paraphernalia was also discovered. 

The raid was the latest effort to counter what was called a drug problem in the county. Clarke County Sheriff DeWayne Smith said that future arrests are expected.
