The Equal Justice Initiative's (EJI) 2026 Juneteenth event will feature jazz artists Nate Smith and Lizz Wright.

The Legacy Sites of EJI will be open to the public on June 19, which includes the Legacy Museum, the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, Freedom Monument Sculpture Park, and the Montgomery Square.

In the evening drummer Nate Smith and vocalist/songwriter Lizz Wright will perform for one night.

“We are once again thrilled to open up our sites for free in celebration of Juneteenth. With new exhibits at all of the spaces and our recently opened Montgomery Square, there will be much to experience at the Legacy Sites,” said EJI executive director Bryan Stevenson. “I’m also thrilled that we can bring to Montgomery two towering and phenomenally talented artists, Nate Smith and Lizz Wright, to perform at our Juneteenth concert.”
