Fashion on the River showcases models, designers on June 24

The 9th Annual Fashion on the River is set for June 24 and will showcase models, designers and surrounding area boutiques. 

More than 50 models, 12 boutiques and a variety of small business vendors will be featured in the show. Participants come from Selma, Marion, Montgomery, Prattville, Tuscaloosa and Florida.  

Male and female models ranging from 5 to 50 years old will take part in this family friendly event, which will have the them of "Crop Over" as a nod to Carnivale culture. 

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., followed by the show at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be bought from any model or at the door. 

The event will be held at the Selma High School Auditorium on 2180 Broad Street.
