Fatcat Tuesday to raise money for animal adoption program

Sky Hill Animal Society and Selma's Purrrfect Pals will hold Fatcat Tuesday to raise money for the Selma Animal Shelter's adoption program on March 1. 

The event will sell tickets for traditional New Orleans meals.

$12 will get you a choice of a meal with chicken and sausage gumbo with cornbread and a chocolate moonpie or red beans and rice with the same sides. 

$15 will get you a meal of shrimp gumbo with the same sides as well. 

Pickup will be done at Blue Jean Church at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The church is located at 1209 Selma Avenue.
