FEMA is offering free rebuilding tips at Tractor Supply in Selma for those whose homes were damaged by the Jan. 12 tornado.
FEMA mitigation specialists are offering advice not only for rebuilding but also protecting homes from disasters in the future. Much of the information will be geared toward do-it-yourself work and general contractors, said a press release from FEMA.
Mitigation specialists will be available from March 23 to 28. Hours are:Â
- 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, March 23
- 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, March 24
- 7:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 25
- 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, March 26
- 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, March 27
- 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, March 28
Tractor Supply in Selma is located at 2680 US-Hwy 80 West.Â
A Mitigation Helpline is available at 833-336-2487 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, as well as email at FEMA-R4-HMHELP@FEMA.DHS.GOV.
