Two former players on the University of West Alabama's (UWA) women's soccer team have signed contracts to play professionally.

UWA Head Coach Sam Wilson announced that Dior Wilson and Amy Denholm will play for KF Vllaznia and Motherwell FC respectively.

"We are proud to announce that two of our former Tigers, Dior and Amy, have signed professional contracts," he said in an online announcement. "Both made significant contributions to our program throughout their time here, and their achievements reflect the hard work and dedication they displayed on and off the field."

Wilson started as a goalkeeper for two seasons at UWA while Denholm has played for four years and started as a defender.
