The Selma community will celebrate the life of Selma community leader Mark Myles at a funeral service on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Selma High's gym.

Myles, 43, was shot and killed on Jan. 16. Allen McCampbell, 43, has been arrested and charged with his murder.

Myles was well known in Selma for his work as a youth mentor and as a community outreach manager with the Selma Center for Nonviolence, Truth and Reconciliation. 

Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Aubrey Larkin's Lewis Brothers Funeral Home of Selma serving with excellence through professional service. Myles will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral hour at the auditorium.

Myles' family has set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for his son that is overseen by his mother China Myles.
