Gallery 905 in Selma will hold a reception for South Alabama artist Stacey Edwards on Thursday.Â
Edwards is described as a painter, mixed media artist, and art educator with more than 15 years of experience.Â
She taught art for 13 years at Greenville High School. Sher students have reportedly earned state and national recognition, including Congressional Art Awards and honors from the Alabama State Council on the Arts.
She currently works in arts education through the Alabama State Council on the Arts Collaborative Artist Program.Â
The free reception will be held at 5:30 p.m. on 905 Water Avenue.Â
