The parade kicks off at 4:30 p.m. with the theme of "Merry and Bright" and will follow the route along Jackson Street.

Afterwards the tree lighting ceremony will be held at the Clarke County Courthouse on 114 Court Street.

Following the lighting the Clarke County Historical Museum will host a showing of the film "A Muppet Christmas Carol". Participants are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets.
