The Hale County Extension Office will host an eight-session education and support program about diabetes on Sept. 22. 

The program is aimed a people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes and will connect them to clinical resources through partnerships with certified diabetes care and education specialists. 

Participants will learn how to manage diabetes with the following: 

• Diet

• Physical Activity

• Medication and Monitoring

• Healthy Coping and Problem-Solving

• Reducing Risks for Associated Health Problems

The program will be held at the Hale County Extension Office on 701 Hall Street in Greensboro. It is free to attend but requires registration and can be done here.
