The University of Alabama's (UA) Hear Here project will hold free hearing screening clinics in Livingston and Camden in February.

The Livingston clinic will be held from 10 am to 12 pm on Thursday, Feb. 1 at the Sumter County Health Department on 1121 N Washington Street.

The Camden clinics will be held on Tuesday, February 6, and Thursday, February 22, both from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wilcox County Health Department on 107 Union Street.

The clinic is part of a research study by UA. Data from the research is believed to help in addressing hearing needs in rural areas of Alabama.

A free hearing screening will be given for participants who will also be asked questions about their health. The study will last an estimated 30 minutes and participants will be given a $10 gift card.
