An increase in heat conditions is expected for many communities in Alabama over the next seven days, including some in the Black Belt.Â
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Birmingham temperatures will climb into the triple digits.Â
These conditions will create a risk for any heat-sensitive groups and anyone without effective cooling or hydration.Â
The maximum temperature will reach 102 in Demopolis, Eufaula, Montgomery, and Selma and 100 in Troy.Â
