Jessica Allen named director of Whitfield Home Health

 Jessica Allen has been named director of Whitfield Home Health, a division of Whitfield Regional Hospital.

Allen has a bachelor’s of nursing degree from the Capstone College of Nursing at The University of Alabama and a master’s degree in health administration from Oklahoma State University. She was formerly over Whitfield Regional Hospital’s surgery department.

“I’m honored to serve in this role and continue working alongside such a seasoned, dedicated and skilled team,” Allen said. “Our team members have worked in home health for years. They know how to care for patients in their home, they know this community and they know their patients.”

Patients consistently express high satisfaction with the care they receive, according to Allen. “Our goal is to provide the highest level of care while building meaningful relationships with our patients and their families,” she said.

Whitfield Home Health has provided skilled nursing, therapy services and chronic disease management since 1992. The program serves Marengo and surrounding counties.
