The New Jersey Institute for Social Justice and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law will host their "Our Selma Moment: Fighting and Building" panel on Saturday as part of the Selma Bridge Crossing Jubilee.Â
"The event, occurring at the church where Bloody Sunday foot soldiers gathered before their historical march for voting rights across the Edmund Pettus Bridge on the same date 61 years before, will consist of two powerful panels of racial justice leaders and prominent state attorneys general who will place our current moment in the context of that history," said a press release for the event.Â
