The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) recently announced that it will address septic tank and straight issues for Lowndes County residents.Â
ADPH will work with the University of Alabama to visit residents who don't have septic tanks and ask about potential issues with getting them installed.Â
"This will not include any homes served by municipal sewer systems, only homes that rely on septic systems," said a news release from ADPH.Â
